June 17,1989 - John Daniel “Tooz” Matuszak was an American football defensive lineman in the National Football League who later became an actor. Matuszak died of heart failure. His death was caused by an overdose of dextropropoxyphene although some cocaine was found in his system; pneumonia was also thought to be a contributing cause of his demise.
